I am running for re-election!

I am a first-term legislator representing Wethersfield, CT in the 28th House District. I serve as a member of the Government Administration and Elections, Transportation, and Internships Committees.
As your State Rep, I have worked hard for the residents and businesses of Wethersfield. The past two years, living during a pandemic, have been challenging and reinforces the need for elected officials who will listen to experts and make sound decisions to protect residents' health and our State's economy.
I will continue to champion voting rights, work to pass laws to assist our workforce and grow our economy, and fight for our families’ health and safety while making sure crucial funding comes back to our town.
I bring a background in municipal experience to the legislature through my ten year employment as an Assistant Town Clerk. I also served in elected office on the Town Council (2015-2020), and as Mayor of Wethersfield (2017-2019).
As a lifelong resident of Wethersfield, I attended elementary and middle school in town before graduating from South Catholic High School and Providence College. I am currently employed at Wesleyan University’s Center for African American Studies. My husband Rich and I have three daughters, all still in school, and both sets of parents living in Wethersfield.
During this campaign, I look forward to connecting with residents about the issues important to our district.
I hope to earn your support on November 8th.
